How it works
AdaptLeads has two parts. Knowing which is which removes most of the confusion.
Campaigns, sequences, lead lists, settings and your dashboard. It does not touch LinkedIn itself.
Opens on LinkedIn when you click the AdaptLeads icon. All capturing and outreach happens here, in your own logged-in session, from your own IP.
Setup in 3 steps
- Create your account. Sign in on the website with Google or email.
- Install the extension. Download it above, then in Chrome go to
chrome://extensions, turn on Developer mode, and Load unpacked (or drag the unzipped folder in). Be signed in to LinkedIn in the same browser. - Connect your key. Website → Settings → Backend + key → paste your access key → Test connection. The extension picks up the same account.
The workflow
- Capture. On LinkedIn, open a people search, open the panel, and scroll. People fill the Queue tab.
- Verify. In the Queue, select people, then Match and Reveal safe only to get verified business emails from our UK database.
- Build a sequence. On the website, design your branching drip: connect, wait, if accepted send a message, follow up if no reply.
- Run. In the extension Run tab, press Start campaign. It works the whole list on its own.
- Follow up. The runner remembers each person, checks who accepted, and sends the message and follow-up automatically.
Capturing leads
Open a normal LinkedIn people search (no Sales Navigator needed). Click the AdaptLeads icon to open the side panel, then scroll the results slowly. As rows load, people are added to the Queue and the count climbs. It only reads what your session already shows; it never auto-scrolls or clicks for you.
Verifying emails
In the Queue, select the people you want, then Match all to find them in our UK database, and Reveal safe only to return verified business emails (we never surface risky or personal addresses). This is our edge: other tools make you find email separately.
Autonomous campaign
The Run tab has Start campaign. It walks your captured leads, opens each profile in your tab, and sends the next step of your sequence at a randomised human pace (roughly a minute or two apart), spread across your working hours. It stops at your daily caps and outside your hours, then resumes. Per-person progress is saved, so when you start it again it checks who accepted and sends the follow-up messages.
Safety & limits
Accounts stay safe because everything is capped and paced like a person:
- Per-action daily limits (connections, messages, views, follows, likes), set in website Settings.
- A working-hours window, so nothing fires overnight.
- Randomised human gaps between actions, never machine-instant.
- It runs from your own browser and IP. Your LinkedIn session never leaves your machine and nothing runs on our servers.
Troubleshooting
I scrolled my search but the Queue stayed at 0
You almost certainly updated the extension while the LinkedIn tab was already open. Refresh the tab (F5) so the new version loads on it, then scroll again. If it is still 0 after a refresh, tell us and we will adjust the capture.
Connect says it failed or nothing happened
Open the Run tab and read the outcome line, it names the exact action that failed. Send us that text and we will fix it. Also check you are on a /in/ profile page and signed in to LinkedIn.
Do I need Sales Navigator?
No. Normal LinkedIn people search is fully supported.
How do I update the extension?
Download the latest version above, then in chrome://extensions either replace the files in your folder and click reload, or Remove and Load unpacked again (re-paste your key if you remove it). Then refresh your LinkedIn tab.
The campaign paused itself
That is by design: it hit your daily cap or is outside your working hours. It resumes automatically when the window reopens. Adjust caps and hours in website Settings.
